Local Spotlight

Meet Michael Scarpitti: Pathfinder Broadband’s Local Connection Expert
At Pathfinder Broadband, we take pride in being hyper-local—because we’re not just a broadband provider, we’re part of the community. And no one embodies that more than Michael Scarpitti, our Director of Enterprise Sales.
Michael joined Pathfinder in 2019, bringing 25+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering. But what truly sets him apart is his dedication to serving our local community, ensuring that businesses and residents get the reliable connectivity they need—without the empty promises of big-name ISPs.
What makes Pathfinder different?
"Unlike major ISPs that prioritize expansion, Pathfinder focuses on service and support first. We understand the unique challenges of providing broadband in a rural, mountainous area—something larger providers often underestimate."
Helping the Community Stay Connected
Michael has worked with countless local businesses, but one standout project was partnering with Valley View Hospital to deliver a high-speed, wireless broadband solution in just 60 days—a process that would have taken a year with other providers.
More than a Broadband Expert—A True Local
Since moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2018, Michael has fully embraced the community.
You’ll find him:
🍽️Grabbing breakfast at Lazy Bear in New Castle—tell Joel that Michael & Victoria sent you!
🎭 Performing at the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue—where he brings laughter and music to locals and visitors alike.
🎤 Singing at Native Son & Stubbie’s Bar and Grill for open mic nights.
🎣 Fishing at Cathedral or American Lake after a long hike.
🎆 Performing with Symphony in the Valley for the Independence Day Fireworks Pre-show.
Michael lives in Rifle, CO with his wife, Victoria, and their six children—four of whom are still at home and keep them quite busy with swimming, track, theater, and choir. Victoria, a lifesaving instructor and Aquatics Program Manager at Glenwood Springs Community Center, shares his passion for supporting the community.
Michael’s dedication to his neighbors, his work, and his family embody what makes Pathfinder Broadband a truly local company.
Give Michael a shoutout in the comments! Have you seen him on stage or worked with him on broadband solutions? Let us know!

Aspen’s Funniest Neighbors Take the Stage!
At Pathfinder Broadband, we’re not just about fast internet—we’re about keeping you in the loop on all the cool stuff happening around town. And guess what? The Valley Comic Showcase is coming to the Wheeler Opera House on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, and it’s bringing the laughs.
This isn’t some big-city comedy tour rolling through. Nope—these are your neighbors up there, sharing their funniest stories, awkward moments, and all the things we can’t help but laugh about. Who knows, you might even recognize someone from the grocery store—or maybe your HOA meeting (because that would be funny).
So if you’re into supporting local talent, laughing ‘til your cheeks hurt, or just need an excuse to get out of the house, this one’s for you.
